Scalp hair transplantation from €2,500: what does that mean?

This is a starting price, not a fixed price for every treatment. You receive an individual quote after examination. “From €2,500” does not establish a particular graft count or a fixed scope of services.

The price applies only to scalp hair transplants. It is not a quote for beard, eyebrows or PRP. Alternative terms for hair transplantation do not establish a different rate: what matters is the treatment actually planned.

Which factors determine hair transplant costs?

The planned extent of treatment and agreed services form the basis of a personal quote. A price therefore cannot be established from a photograph or the name of a thinning area alone.

What do grafts, FUE and DHI tell you about costs?

Graft count, hair count and eventual visible fullness are not interchangeable. When comparing prices, it must therefore be clear which unit and scope of services an amount covers.

There is no flat rate here for “What do 3,000 grafts cost?” The number alone describes neither individual suitability nor the full scope of services. A reliable price requires examination and a personal quote.

FUE costs and DHI costs are not two fixed, directly comparable rates. Your personal quote must explain which extraction and implantation steps are priced; both techniques can be combined.

Which parts of a quote need to be clear?

Meaningful price comparisons need the same basis: the treated area, planned extent and agreed services. A starting price alone does not promise that consultation, medicines or aftercare are included.

Before agreeing, have the items included in the total, any planned further costs and how changes to treatment extent are agreed recorded in writing. This is a comparison criterion, not a statement that particular extra charges apply at Melimedicshair.

How can you compare hair transplant prices responsibly?

Compare the total for the same planned extent. A per-graft price and a package price cannot be directly compared without knowing the associated services.

Alongside price, you need clarity about who performs treatment, actual appointment locations, risks and aftercare. A higher price alone does not prove better treatment; a low starting price does not explain your personal total cost.

The scalp hair starting price does not automatically apply to these treatments. Costs are discussed separately according to the relevant personal plan; scalp pricing does not create a flat rate for other areas.
