Hair transplantation for patients from Wiesbaden
Which treatment might suit you and what belongs in a personal quote? For people from Wiesbaden, we explain key decision questions and ways to travel to the practice.
From Wiesbaden to a personal examination
You can request an appointment by phone or email. A personal examination establishes whether treatment is suitable. Before travelling, confirm which appointment is planned for your concern; an online enquiry is not a booking confirmation.
The hair transplant requirements and limitations help put the decision into context.
Your medical contact is Melih Kandemir. Together with the team, he supports you with questions and personal planning.
What concerns can you contact us about?
Our services include scalp, beard and eyebrow transplantation, together with PRP/hair medicine. Tell us which area concerns you when enquiring. You do not need to choose a method yet.
FUE describes extraction and DHI an implantation technique; the two steps can be combined. With thinning hair, investigating the cause comes first. PRP is not a general substitute for a transplant.
The technical steps are explained in our comparison of FUE and DHI.
For questions about thinning hair, see information under PRP and hair medicine.

The desired change and your starting point belong in the same treatment plan.
What does a hair transplant cost for patients from Wiesbaden?
Scalp hair transplants at Melimedicshair start from €2,500. This is a starting price; an individual quote follows examination. It does not automatically apply to beard, eyebrows or PRP.
Your decision depends on the treatment and associated services agreed in your personal quote. The starting price alone does not establish treatment extent or the number of necessary visits.
The hair transplantation cost overview explains pricing factors and quote comparisons.
From Wiesbaden to the practice by bus, train or car
Bus 74 connects Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof with Mainz via Biebrich and the Schierstein Bridge. Its regular route includes the Elbestraße stop in Gonsenheim. This offers a connection without going via Mainz Hbf.
Another option is the S8 to Mainz Hbf, followed by tram 50 to the Elbestraße stop. Mainz-Kastel, served by the S9, is a different station.
In the RMV planner, choose your actual starting address and the practice address below as the destination. Check suitable connections, diversions and walking directions for your travel date. Line information is guidance, not a live service update.
For driving, use the same practice address as your destination. For access questions, use contact and directions. After any procedure, plan return travel according to your personal medical instructions, not just the shortest route.
Planning personal appointments and aftercare
You can request an appointment with the Mainz practice by phone or email. Suitability is only assessed following a medical examination; the online guide does not make that decision.
The number of personal appointments and locations for examination, any surgery and follow-up need to fit your plan. Contacts and ways to ask questions after treatment must also be agreed. The practice address alone does not establish the surgical location.
The information on healing and aftercare explains the general principles. This information does not replace individual care instructions or follow-up appointments.

Appointment sequence, questions and aftercare are arranged personally.

Questions from patients in Wiesbaden
These answers can help you prepare.
01Is there a practice in Wiesbaden?
Our practice is in Mainz. We do not have a practice in Wiesbaden.
02Can I travel from Wiesbaden without changing at Mainz main station?
On its regular route, bus 74 runs from Wiesbaden Hbf via Biebrich to the Elbestraße stop in Gonsenheim. Check the journey planner for your travel date to see whether this connection suits your appointment.
03Do I need to choose between FUE and DHI before examination?
No. FUE concerns extraction and DHI implantation. They can be combined. Individual suitability and planning come before choosing technical steps.
04Does the price from €2,500 also apply to eyebrows or PRP?
No. The starting price applies only to scalp hair transplantation. Your individual quote follows examination; it does not establish a price for other services.
05Can I contact the practice for follow-up appointments?
You can reach the practice on 01575 8272466 and info@melimedicshair.de. Which follow-up visits are needed in person, where they take place and which contacts apply after surgery are part of the individual agreement. This does not promise care in Wiesbaden.
